Sunday School Fair 2011

I know this latest post has been a long time in coming, but it is here at last!

Sunday School Fair 2011 was a great success.  The day started out cold and rainy but by 11 AM the clouds stopped dripping on us for the most part.  The temperature didn't rise much during the day so we were all grateful when Tiffany showed up with hot chocolate and tea!  That didn't seem to stop folks from coming though.  This was one our most well attended pie auctions to date.  And wow! the food booth had so many tempting treats it was hard to choose which thing to try first.  The handwork booth was a popular stop with a many visitors.  The young people manned the games with spirit, dedication and diligence.

Thanks to each of you who worked so hard to make this event happen.  Hours of work went into it, before, during and after the actual day.  Thank you!!!

As a result, you donated $395.00 to the Park and the 67 visitors that came by had a blast.  That's a successful day by any standard.
