Comments from a Former Cadet

Thanks so much. This former VMI cadet really appreciated the 147th Activities


Everything was ‘spot-on’.

The list included:

• The Reenactors of both sides and civilians looked and were great
• The Stonewall Brigade Band
• Church in the field
• The guides in the Bushing house
• The grounds
• The Museum and presentation The “Field of Lost Shoes”
• The Sutlers & snack bars
• The Parking and staff
• The speaker music and narrator

What did I leave out….Oh yes
The VMI cadets that marched from Lexington
Even The weather!
And on and on.
Thanks for a world class event
I’ve been to many other reenactments and none
Had it all together like ‘all y’all”
