Saturday's Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was a lot of fun. FIESTA was the theme for the evening. After a dinner of Mexican food, we laughed and enjoyed funny stories of living history life. Then we took turns creating living pictures of events in the life of a New Market Battlefield Volunteer. Check out the pictures at www.flickr.com/groups/nmbshpvolunteers. Thank you to the Volunteers for contributing 2132 people hours to the Park during fiscal year 2009/2010. This combined with your fundraising efforts totals more than $17,500.00 in contributions. WOW! You are a dynamic bunch of people and I am thrilled to know and work with you. Thank you seems inadequate but it will have to do for now, so "THANK YOU!!!" We look forward to great year coming.
