A visitor on one of my recent tours told me about St. Catherine's Military Academy in Anaheim, California. Each year in March, the students have a Civil War reenactment in which they recreate the VMI Cadet's role in the Battle of New Market. We all know the story of New Market is compelling and exciting, but how wonderful to see that our California cousins feel the same.
